Alright, alright, I know it’s been a long time since you heard from me, but don’t get all bent out of shape– I come bearing gifts!

First off, I have FINALLY posted the first full song from my upcoming record The Optimist, called “You Never Say Anything Nice.” We are very proud of it and I can’t wait to hear what you all think! It’s on Facebook here.

Next, we are really anxious to release more music and can’t decide on what to put up next. So we’re going to let YOU decide.

Go to Facebook starting TOMORROW NIGHT to hear 30 second clips of THREE new songs: “Dead As A Dog,” “Spoiled Gut,” and “Purpose Of Breath.” Vote for the one that you want us to release next by leaving a comment on my wall, and the winner will be put online next week! We are working on some final touches on the record right now including artwork and layout. You guys are gonna flip out when you see how awesome this all turns out.

Finally, in some non-album related news, I’m getting some ink done next Friday. We will have pictures and a video of it all next weekend so you can see what a man (or wimp) I am.

Facebook/New audio sample!

Welcome/A Saturday in the Studio

Hello world.

Since this is the first post on this site, I figured I would update you on what has been going on throughout the past couple months.

Ive been holed up in a studio in Winnetka, CA recording my first full-length solo record, The Optimist. Some fantastic musicians have been working on the project, including Josh Taddeo and my good friend Greg Fulleman, the drummer of Harris Grade. We are setting up shop on this beautifully hot Saturday morning to finish all the guitar “sweetening” for the record, which I have to say is sounding absolutely fantastic so far.

Next week we have some people coming in to play violins, cellos, harmonicas, pianos, and more. Gonna make this things sound huge. After that, vocals. And then its done.

We also have some seriously cool surprises to announce in the coming weeks, so keep your ears to the ground.

I can’t wait for you all to hear this beast.
